What We're About

Who is the Live Like JayG3 Scholarship for?

This scholarship is in honor of my little brother, Jay Garcia who had a zest for life and hard work. Through this scholarship, we carry on his legacy and name by helping young adults find their true calling. This scholarship is for young adults who want to work & travel out of state or country. If you are a young adult who is attending a unique and adventurous summer work and travel program, you've come to the right place. We love to hear about all the cool and amazing programs in the world in order to share with other young adults who might be curious as to what is out there. The criteria to apply is as follows: send an email with an introduction of who you are and what summer work and travel program you have been accepted to. You will then receive a welcome email. Then, you will be able to download the application and apply. The application must have an accompanying letter of acceptance for the summer work and travel program you are heading into. Our goal is to help young adults in some way shape or form whether it be contributing to airfare or a monetary stipend for your specific work and travel needs.

The main goal is to change a life one summer at a time.

Why is the Live Like JayG3 Scholarship important?

The Live Like JayG3 Scholarship is important because it represents Jay who loved life and lived life epically. Though Jay has passed, it does not mean that young adults can’t continue living in his honor and adventurous spirit. It is important for others to live on for him and to continue his legacy of work and travel and adventure.
